See the beauty of the natural world at the Earth and Mineral Sciences Museum and Art Gallery, where brilliantly colored and rare minerals show off all the colors of the visible spectrum and more. Hands-on exhibits and activities display some of the fascinating properties of some of these minerals, including conductivity, magnetism, radioactivity, florescence and more. In addition to these objects pulled right from the earth, the museum also holds an extensive display of art relating to mining and other affiliated duties. The museum is on the campus of Pennsylvania State University, as are the Palmer Museum of Art and the Matson Museum of Anthropology.
